My first encounter with the corporate setting was as a participant when I worked throughout the southeastern United States as a financial analyst. By leading mindfulness seminars, I return to the corporate setting as a partner. Mindfulness teaches us that we can be fueled by our own set of values while engaging with the multitude of the whole. We can balance each of our coworkers’ humanness with a common corporate goal.
Public speaking on mindfulness in corporate settings energizes me. I share that enthusiasm with participants, drawing on professional experience, a childhood in rural west Texas, extensive yoga and meditation training, and the brass tacks of being a business owner and parent. This work is also personal for me: I believe befriending our minds is essential for mental and physical health, for creativity and for peace.
I have presented mindfulness programs at Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, The Energy Authority, The Veterans Administration, and Heartland Rehabilitation Services. I manage and lead retreats around the country.
Presentations are customized to the meet the goals and budget of your organization.
